Hi, I’m Robert Matheny President of Reliability Home Services
In 2007, at the height of the housing boom, my partners and I all worked in the several hundred rehabilitated properties in Baltimore city. We had seen the rampant dishonesty and substandard work that contractors were doing in one house after another, and over dinner one night I posed a question.
“Why can’t contractors be honest?”
Then we hatched an idea, one that sounded cliché.
It’s a revolutionary idea that seemed to have been forgotten.
Honesty, tell the customer the truth…. provide a positive experience and people will know they can trust you.
Integrity, Do what you say and mean what you do… Hire honest people, give honest prices, and never cut corners.
Quality, Provide quality over quantity… Use the very best equipment, products you believe in, and quality craftsmanship.
Born December 17th, 1974 in Baltimore, Maryland. Rob is the son of a carpenter and dockworker and moved to Galveston, Texas at age 3. He lived there until he was fifteen, then moved back to Baltimore. He left again after he graduated from Dundalk High School in 1992 and joined the Navy, where he served during Desert Storm and earned two Navy achievement medals. He came back home in 1996. After coming home he began working at a heating and air conditioning company. Soon after that he met the love of his life and now has three kids. Rob enjoys spending his spare time doing Disaster Relief (Hurricane Ike, Super Storm Sandy, and Tropical Storm Isabelle). He dedicates time to children’s activities and sports. He supports LTRC Little League Baseball, Dundalk-Eastfield Baseball, and Jarrettsville Ravens football, where he also volunteers as a coach.
Robert (Bobby) Coghlan
Born on September 1978 in Baltimore City, Maryland, the only son of two Vietnam veterans. Bobby grew up in Highlandtown near Patterson park on Montford Avenue. In 1996 he became an Eagle Scout (a distinction very few people accomplish) and graduated from Mount Saint Joseph High School. Soon after graduation Bobby went into trade work. Bobby was a Master Carpenter by age 24 but his mechanical curiosity didn’t stop there. He then joined the HVAC trade where he excelled to new heights.
He is now the installation manager at Reliability Home Services. He is the go-to guy when there is any problem or complication in the field. If you see Bobby in your house you can be confident that everything will be okay, because there is no problem too big or too small that he can’t handle.
